Cleo had one son (Elvin Wayne "Cotton" Lawson) when she an d Ed married. Cotton , as he was known, was born 08-13-192 1 in Cotton Co. OK. He served in the navy during WW2 and th en entered law enforcement. Rose to the chief of police i n OKC and then head of OK highway patrol. He died in OKC o n 06-05-1979. Cotton was married to Grace Naomi Eisenhour ( cousin to our President) on 8-3-1940 in Temple, Ok and sh e was born 08-13-1921 in Cotton Co. OK. Their children wer e Frances Lee Lawson b 8-9-1942 OKC, OK., Romona Gayle La wson b 8-4-1944 Duncan, OK., Ed ward Wayne Lawson b 3-27- 1949 OKC, OK.
