Curtis Harris said he loved his grandmother. My father sai d he used to play hide and seek and hide in his grandmother 's (Rittie) long dress. He said back then, women would g o to the restroom by squatting on the ground (called lettin g water) and often their dresses would slide through the w et ground. He said "she smelled like a pig but I loved her" . He seemed to think highly of his grandparents but did no t much like his mother.
