Know all men by these Present that I Emily CRAWLY being o f Sound mind and disposing Memory. Knowing the Certainty o f Death and the uncertainty of Life make this my last wil l and testament. I bequeath to John H. Maxey (my son) and t o Joseph Crawley my (grandson) all my farm on which I now l ive it being the farm which my father Daniel Shelly Wille d to me. And to my son John H. Maxey I desire him to have h alf of the farm on which the house is Located. My object fo r this is from the fact that I desire him to have the hous e and also the household and kitchen furniture. Consistin g of Bed Quilts Pillows Tables Cubbards Clock and in fact a ll that belongs to the house. Now I desire that Joseph Craw ly have an Equal share of the land the house and household . And Kitchen Furniture Excetted ? and I also bequeath ont o my son John H. Maxey my cow. And I further State that m y other grandchildren Joseph Crawly Exceted? have been give n all that I desire them to have.

Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Shelly late o f Clinton County Kentucky do make and publish this my las t will and testament being in my right mind and believing m y time soon will close in this time world. First I submit m y sole and body to my wise creator Second after my Decd . I want my just debts settled I wish my wife Margaret Shel ly to have all my household and kitchen furniture and all t he stock that we may have on hand also my tract of land whe re I now reside during her natural life with the exceptio n of a small piece of the south side including a tobacco ho use and ravine with a gully about half way up the hill then ce south crossing a branch in the line of Guyons Shellys gi ving it to that piece of land that I gave to my son Guyan S helly this small piece of land above mentioned I give to m y son-in-law David Booher At the Dec'd of my wife Margare t Shelly I bequeath to my Emily Crawley the balance of th e tract of land where I now reside - I give to the heirs o f my son McCampble Shelly Dec'd my mill including about fif teen acres of land at the Dec'd of myself and my wife Marga ret Shelly I further wish that the land I swoped James T. A shenhurst to stand as we made the trade & I impower John H . Wright my son in law to make title to James T. Ashenhurs t - I further wish John H. Wright to make title to David Bo oher to the land that I give to my son Gyan Shelly with th e peace above mentioned of my home tract as witness here wi th I set my hand this 30th Day of Oct. 1865

Marriage Bond.
THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY.
Be it Known, that we Randolph L. Maxey as principal, and L. S. Shelley as surety, are jointly and severally bound to th e Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of One Hundred Dolla rs.
The Condition of this Bond is as follows :
That, whereas Marriage is intended to be solemnized betwee n the above bound Randolph L. Maxey and Mrs Emily Crawley
Now, if there is no lawful cause to obstruct said Marriage , this Bond shall be void, otherwise it shall remain in ful l force and effect.
