This Instrument made and entered into this 26 day of Octobe r 1898 by and between J. W. Crawley of Clinton County Ky o f the first part and D. H. Gamblin of the second part of Cl inton Co Ky Witness that for and in Consideration of the su m of $150 dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is here by fully acknowledged the first party J. W. Crawley bargain s Sells and does by these present bargain Sell and Conve y a certain tract or parcel of land with the Said partie D . H. Gamblin the said land was conveyed to J. W. Crawley b y a will made by Emily Crawley June 1st 1888 and is situate d in Clinton County Ky on the waters of Illwill Creek and i s bounded as follows Beginning at two white oaks at the hea d of a hollow at the hart Grove line thence S 21 1/2 E 44 p oles to a Rock and ______ where a hickory had stood Was th e head of a spring thence S 17 W 57 poles to a rock on th e north side of the Albany road thence with the same S 5 3 W 7 poles & 11 links to a rock on the north side of sai d road Thence N 64 1/2 W 86 poles to a rock on ___ Howard s line Thence with his marked and agreed on line by and bet ween the said Howard and Crawley due North 10 poles to a wh ite oak thence N 36 E 78 poles to a Sugar tree or Maple an d _______thence N __ 1/2 E 12 1/2 poles to a white oak th e said Howards and also Corner to Nancy Pages land thence w ith her line N 37 1/2 E 32 poles to a stake in the branch J S Keerns Corner thence up the branch with its meanderings t o the Beginning Containing __ Acres be the same more or les s with its apertenances To have and to hold to the said D . Gibson's Corner thence with hi s line N 49 1/2 W 52 poles to a rock near the head of a Spr ing Mae Gamblins Corner thence with her line S 17 W 35 pole s and 7 links to a rock her corner Thence with another of h er lines S 56 1/2 E 14 poles and 7 links to a rock on the N orth side of said road Thence with the same N 77 E 37 pole s to the beginning containing 7 acres One (1) road 28 pole s be the same More or less it being a part of the same lan d conveyed to the party of the first part by S.
