Samuel came from KY to indian territory in OK and TX when h e was 7 yrs old in 18 90. Farmed in Jefferson, Cotton and T illman counties til 1955 when the terribl e hailstorm came . Lived near Hastings, OK til his death in 1963.

Mary's parents were Will and Emma Bassett. Came to TX in 19 03 and moved to Hasti ngs, OK in 1906.
